3 part time vacancies – WAMT – 31st July 2011
Women and Manual Trades has recently been fortunate to receive funding from the Big Lottery Fund’s Transition Fund, and from Trust for London. As a result, we are now recruiting for three new part-time positions :
Employment Support Manager
17.5 hours per week
Fixed term contract to June 2013
£32,000 pro rata
Closing date : 31st July 2011
Purpose : To set up work placement programmes for women in the construction industry; to offer support to women seeking work placements; to work with employers to ensure best practice on site for women placed as part of the programme.
Marketing and Fundraising Officer
7 hours per week
Fixed term contract to 31st December 2011
£30,000 pro rata
Closing date : 31st July 2011
Purpose : To design and implement new marketing strategies for Women and Manual Trades; to develop a new online job and training search engine; and to work alongside the Chief Executive on fundraising bids for the organisation.
Events Co-ordinator
7 hours per week
Fixed term contract to 30th September 2011
£25,000 pro rata
Closing date : 31st July 2011
Purpose : To organise events and support activities which promote Women and Manual Trades. Events may include : Construction Diversity Expo 2011, DIY training days, Networking Events, Stakeholder Meetings, Annual General Meetings and similar activities.
