Poppy Project update – Eaves

Thanks to the commitment of staff at Eaves, and more importantly thanks to the overwhelming response and generosity of our donors, the Poppy Project will continue to empower and provide high quality support to victims of trafficking.

We now have 15 bed spaces and capacity for 50 outreach cases per year. Poppy Project will continue without the restrictions that state funding entails, meaning we are free to run the best possible service.

We have received a fantastic response from supporters over the past two months, for which we are incredibly grateful, however it is vital that we maintain and build upon that support. Not only must we ensure that Poppy survives, but that it can grow and become a bigger and better service than ever before.

So far the Poppy Project has:
- Responded to 1869 referrals
- Provided supported accommodation to 334 women
- Supported 36 victims of trafficking to successfully convict 55 traffickers
