Volunteer Coordinator Assistant – Solace – 5th September 2011
Are you enthusiastic, organised and IT literate?
An effective communicator with an eye for detail, you will assist with the coordination of all areas of volunteer and student involvement in our work including recruitment, selection, training and record keeping. In particular you will assist the volunteer coordinator in seeking out opportunities for ex and current service users to become involved with our work.
You will have at least 6 months experience as a volunteer yourself and be able to demonstrate a commitment to developing the role of volunteers at Solace Women’s Aid. You will need to show an understanding of the issues service users face at Solace Women’s Aid and the barriers faced by those who wish to volunteer, together with some of these can be addressed.
Section 7(2) e of the Sex Discrimination Act 1975 applies. The post is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and subject to an enhanced CRB disclosure check.
