Women in Prison Ltd is a unique, national charity. We have the following vacancies for unpaid work:

Volunteering/Mentor Opportunities Covering an Exciting Range of Areas

We are looking to recruit a team of volunteers for a number of defined volunteer/mentor roles.

You will be part of developing a dynamic team, leading the way in campaigning and supporting women with experience of the criminal justice system.

Development, support and training associated with your role will be provided.

Mentoring, Supporting, Activities, Education & Employment, Administrative, Reception, Advice Helpline, Workshops, Drop In, Through the Gate, Responding to Letters, Art and Drama, Data Base Maintenance, Resettlement Support, Advocacy

Successful candidates will require a CRB check to work with vulnerable women.
This opportunity is restricted to women as a GOQ under s7(2)(e) of the SDA.

Closing Date for expression of Interest: Thursday 2pm 11th August 2011

WIP strongly encourages interest from women from minority ethnic groups, those with community languages and women who have experience of the criminal justice system.
