FIXED TERM: Three years

BASED: In central Bristol with extensive travel and outreach work across the South West Region

Bristol Rape Crisis, in partnership with Rape Crisis (England and Wales), is seeking a

Regional Development Worker

to support the development and sustainability of Rape Crisis Centres in the South West of England.

A dynamic, self motivated woman is required to work at a regional and strategic level, as part of a Regional Development Programme, to support new and existing Rape Crisis Centres to develop their capacity.

Experience of working in the voluntary sector at a local, regional and/or national level, with strategic service development and/or management experience is essential.

Ideally, the post-holder will have experience of working in the area of rape and sexual abuse, violence against women and/or the women’s sector.

This post is funded by the Department of Health to deliver improved health outcomes for women and girl survivors of sexual violence.

*Because of the nature of the post it is only open to female applicants and is exempt under Schedule 9 Part 1 Equalities Act 2010. The successful applicant will be subject to a Criminal Records Bureau check (or equivalent)
