Volunteer Female Supervisor
Specialised person-centred/ humanistic counselling service working with women affected by domestic violence, seeks qualified/trainee volunteer supervisors to offer fortnightly group supervision – 2 hours , 4 counsellors
Essential Requirements
* Professional qualification and practicing following the Person-Centred/Humanistic approach
* BACP accreditation/ UKCP registration, or eligibility
* Currently in the process of training as a supervisor or already qualified
* A minimum of three years post-qualification experience of individual counselling work
Volunteer Female Workshop Facilitator
Specialised Person-Centred/Humanistic Counselling Service, working with women affected by domestic violence, seeks qualified Counsellor/Psychotherapist, with some experience of groupwork, to facilitate personal development workshops.
Volunteer Female Counsellor
Our requirements are that counsellors need to be in personal therapy for 1 year minimum, follow the Person-Centred/Humanistic approach, be in their second year of a Diploma course and have one year experience of working with clients (30 – 40 supervised client hours).
We are always interested in counsellors who have a commitment to this area of work. Woman’s Trust has an application process for counsellors interested in placements – counsellors are able to work in a variety of boroughs in West, East London and the borough of Barking and Dagenham – at different times including some evenings and weekends. Please note, because of the needs of women using our service, the minimum commitment is 4 clients per week. Successful candidates will also need to be able to attend Woman’s Trust 2 hrs supervision on a fortnightly basis and a 3-day induction training.
