The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (RASASC) is looking for a capable and enthusiastic intern who would like to work with us to end violence against women. You will be working in our Fundraising department, sourcing and writing applications for funds from grant making trusts. We will provide you with our in-house accredited training programme on sexual violence for free, experience of working within the voluntary sector and a reference upon successful completion of the internship.

MAIN TASKS:

Researching and identifying new sources of income from grant making trusts.

Formulating and writing funding proposals for grant making trusts

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:

Required:
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent research skills
* Experience in writing funding proposals.
* Experience in using Microsoft Word and the internet
* Understanding of the issues surrounding sexual violence against women and girls
* Commitment to the Rape Crisis ethos

We are looking for females who can commit to the organisation for at least three days a week, for at least three months.
