Women and Manual Trades is a charity and membership organisation which supports women training and working in non-traditional manual occupations. WAMT was formed in 1975, and- to the best of our knowledge- was the first group in the UK to promote women working in the construction industry. We support our members with a range of services designed to keep them in touch with relevant news and opportunities, as well as providing valuable networking events for tradeswomen.
We are seeking a marketing and events intern to assist with improving WAMT’s profile, promoting a series of events, as well as some administrative tasks.
Lunch and travel expenses will be provided.
