Rights of Women In-house training

3 million women in the UK experience violence every year.

Reforms to the legal aid scheme will leave many women without access to legal advice and representation and more reliant on statutory and voluntary agencies for support and information.

In-house training from Rights of Women offers a cost-effective way to ensure your staff have the knowledge and skills to support women. We have over 30 years’ experience of providing training on women and the law, and our specialist team of solicitors and barristers will use their expertise and experience to make complex areas of the law clear, accessible and “user-friendly”.

We will come and deliver training to you, at a time and venue of your choice, from just £42 per participant.

We can tailor our courses to meet your specific needs. Our “off the shelf” courses include:

Domestic violence and DIY injunctions: the complete guide
Getting the basics: an introduction to family law
Stop the traffic: protecting and supporting trafficked women in the UK
No recourse? EEA national? Supporting migrant women experiencing domestic violence

We consistently receive excellent feedback on our training courses:

“We have bought Rights of Women in-house training 3 times now and each time the feedback from staff has been excellent. The courses are perfect to ensure our domestic violence staff have up to date knowledge on the relevant legal practices. The trainers are professional, knowledgeable and friendly. Very impressed” Women’s Housing Action Group October 2011

We also run interactive workshops and can provide speakers for your events.
