Message for David Cameron – London Feminist Meetup Group
The message I would like to go out to David Cameron and fellow feminists, is that the last message women of Britain need is to ‘return to Christian Values’ and the prejudice, stigma and poverty that has been heaped on women over the centuries that they have preached obedience, subjection, servitude and inequality of women.
Now as the conservatives are doing their best to disadvantage lone mothers, low paid workers, especially women and make it harder to keep a roof over the heads of families, women should remember that this is what it was always like for women and if we do nothing, they will take us back to where they thought we should be – in the bad old days.
