PLACES STILL AVAILABLE for Sexual Violence: causes, consequences and interventions Short Course
Starting in February, we still have a few places left on this short course.
This course will focus on forms of sexual violence in child and adulthood including;
• sexual abuse in childhood
• rape and sexual assault of adults
• sexual exploitation including pornography
• prostitution
• trafficking and other aspects of the sex industry
• sexual harassment
The course will be delivered over 6 days and the areas covered will be: definitions and prevalence; impacts and meanings; legislative frameworks and the criminal justice response; sexual cultures; perpetrators and approaches to prevention
Teaching dates for the next course in the spring semester are:
Thursday 16th February, Friday 17th February, Thursday 1st March, Friday 2nd March, Thursday 29th March and Friday 30th March 2012
