| Outline Description | NAADV is looking for a four Female Independent Domestic Violence Advisers (IDVA’s) to join our project in East London.
You must be able to work within a dynamic, fast paced, crisis intervention service and have a good understanding of the dynamics and effects of domestic violence. Experience of; the Criminal and Civil justice systems; face-to-face work with survivors of domestic violence; risk assessment; risk management and safety planning is essential. Ability to work in partnership with criminal justice agencies and relevant statutory and voluntary groups. Working hours are 35hrs a week 9am – 5pm, plus occasional out of hours work Start Date: mid/end of February 2012 Advertised in accordance with section 7 (2) of the sex discrimination act 1975.
