Vacancy - June 2002 Kensington and Chelsea Community Safety Team DOMESTIC VIOLENCE CO-ORDINATOR Fixed term appointment for two years Salary: £20,469 - £25,617 (pay award pending) minimum starting salary £23,500 The post will be based in the Kensington & Chelsea Community Safety Team, which is a joint partnership between the Council and the Police.  This dynamic Team is responsible for co-ordinating a multi-agency Strategy to reduce crime and disorder in the Borough.  Domestic violence is a key theme within the Strategy and much progress has been achieved to reduce repeat victimisation in this area.  Funding has been secured to employ a worker to co-ordinate the work of the Domestic Violence Forum. Do you have knowledge about domestic violence research, policies, legislation and appropriate service responses? Have you worked in a multi-agency environment? Are you an effective networker, communicator and organiser?
