London Centre for Personal Safety Charity Director 35 hours per week NJC scale point 38 PO3 (£28,118 incl ILW) + 6% pension LCPS is a London based Charity promoting and providing best practice personal safety and self-defence training programmes. LCPS is seeking a person to enhance the organisation's profile and reputation and promote the organisation's aims. You will need to provide strategic leadership in developing LCPS's work. The job requires considerable experience of providing personal safety and self-defence training for a variety of community groups, in depth knowledge of crime and violence against women issues. Experience of interagency work and fundraising are essential, along with the ability to communicate effectively on sensitive issues in a wide range of settings. As LCPS has currently has no office, you will need to be able to work from home with expenses reimbursed. Closing date for applications: 21 February 2003
