An Invitation to the Next WiC Members' Meeting

You are invited to attend the next Women into Computing members' meeting hosted by the Department of Innovation Studies at the University of East London.

This meeting will be held on 25 September 2001 and will start at 11.00 a.m. with an administrative agenda for members of WiC.  Even if you are not a member you still welcome to this part of the meeting.

Light refreshments will be available at 1.30 p.m.

At 2.00 p.m. the meeting is open to everyone who is interested to particpate in a discussion on:

    The speed of change in the computer technology
  • Is it really necessary?
  • How does it affect women?
This topic will be introduced by the Linda Stepulevage from the Department of Innovation Studies, who will pose these questions to which we would all like to find the answers.

We are hoping for an interesting and a productive discussion.  The meeting will end at 4.30 p.m.
