Women's Environmental Network (WEN) is a national membership charity that educates, informs and empowers women and men who care about the environment, and campaigns on environmental and health issues from a women's perspective. WEN is currently recruiting for the following posts:
- Waste Prevention Officers - £22,230-24,720 pro rata, depending on skills and experience
Two staff to develop new work about the environmental impact of disposable nappies and continence wear and the availability of washable alternatives.
- Continence Wear
- part-time - 2 days a week
Fixed term contract for one year. Ref: WPCW
Someone with good research and administrative skills to help set up a new project about adult continence wear. Tasks include researching key data such as waste amounts and consumer patterns, producing campaign literature and project administration.

- London Nappy Project
- part-time - 2 days a week
Fixed term contract for one year. Ref: WPLNP
Enterprising, energetic, confident and independent person to set up a new project to establish working partnerships in inner West London. The partnerships between the boroughs, health services and local real nappy suppliers, laundries and other stakeholders would work to reduce nappy waste and increase parents' access to cloth nappies.
