In 2005 we carried out a survey to find out whether women thought we should list women's businesses and services. Of those who answered the majoirty said yes.

So for a trial period we are going to see if we can easily integrate this function into the overall work of maintaining Women in London. However we do intend that these listing should be in sympathy with the overall aims of the web site, ie business and services of relevance to women's groups and their users.. We therefore reserve the right to decide which entries to list or not.

We have split the listing into crude categories and hope women will help us by taking time to use the appropriate category. These are:

Arts, Media, Theatre, etc.
Children, ie creche workers,
Consultancy
Counselling, Mentoring, Mediation, etc.
Finance, ie book keeping, auditing, etc.
IT / ITC ie computer support, web design, etc.
Services eg safe transport,
Training
Other eg leisure, holidays, etc.
