Ashiana Project - Multi Agency Networking Day
10th March 2006 from 09.30am – 4.0pm
Epi Centre, Leyton
- Does your organisation work with people affected by domestic violence?
- Do you work within London Borough of Waltham Forest?
Ashiana are organising a working day looking at ways in which local agencies can work together to improve responses to domestic violence cases. The day incorporates reviewing sample case studies together, responding to the multiple needs of those experiencing domestic violence and ways of providing a better service to clients. This will also be an opportunity to meet other service providers and capacity building.
A whole day of capacity building… What does this mean?
Waltham Forest has many agencies that provide a service to survivors of domestic violence. This will be an opportunity for both statutory and voluntary agencies to meet and share working protocols and knowledge to ensure better service delivery to their users.
The day will involve group work, focusing on the needs of different client groups. It will bring together key agencies, giving them the opportunity to share information and gain knowledge from one another.
So, if you work with those affected by domestic violence that are based in the London Borough of Waltham Forest, this is a great opportunity for you and your staff to meet others and focus on service delivery.
