EAVES Lilith Project : Working With Female Survivors Of Violence and Abuse
A Free Two-Day Training Programme For Frontline Professionals
Tuesday 26 June & Wednesday 27 June 2007 (9.30am - 4.30pm)
Tender is pleased to deliver a two-day training programme for frontline workers in partnership with the Lilith Project, part of Eaves Housing for Women. This training is designed to equip workers with an understanding of the experiences of female survivors of violence and abuse as well as explore the power and control model for explaining male violence. It also provides frontline staff with practical guidance for best practice when working with female survivors of violence.
* Priority Will Be Given To Applicants From Smaller Organisations *
Tender is a London-based education and training organisation working towards the prevention of violence against women. We work in secondary schools, youth centres and refuges, and with London borough councils, young people, frontline workers and university students across the country to raise awareness about gender-based abuse. Tender's staff are qualified trainers of the Leeds Inter-Agency Project training course: 'Violence Against Women By Men They Know'.
