This training day will explore attitudes and beliefs around drugs and alcohol as well as the different types of substances and how they can be used and misused within a domestic violence context.

The legal and health issues around drugs and working with clients who use drugs will also be covered as well as appropriate methods to ask about substance use and the consequences and next steps after disclosure.
