Hillcroft College : Oral History
One week course from 3rd to 7th July 2006

An inter-generational course for women who want to explore new learning opportunities. This course aims to encourage women with few formal qualifications to return to a supportive learning environment. The week includes:

• Reminiscing and exploring oral history
• Recording and transcribing reminiscences
• Exploring aspects of women's experiences - immigration stories, war-time memories, working lives, mothers & children, caring
• Sharing women's histories
