Hillcroft College : Project Funding And Networking Skills

1 weekend: 19-21 January 2007

This course will help you to identify important stakeholders and funders for your organisation. You will assess how to make contact with them; and develop a plan to influence stakeholders and develop support for your organisation. The course will provide you with an opportunity to identify and practice influencing skills.

  • Who is the course for? Women who have started or who are about to start a fundraising campaign
  • What previous knowledge/skills required? No formal requirements but some experience in a community organisation (either paid or voluntary) and awareness of resources needed to support community activity is necessary.
  • Assessment and qualification: Informal assessment and internal College Certificate
  • Intended Learning: raised awareness of the context for fundraising and of how to contribute to developing a strategy for your organisation.
