Hillcroft College : Skills For Work Assessment

Weekend: 5-7 January 2007

This is a Course for women who want to enter the workplace or re-enter after a gap, or would like to go for a promotion at work or who need to improve skills at work.

The Skills for Work assessment weekend offers a chance to:

• learn about different working environments
• understand the skills needed for different roles and workplaces
• audit your skills and learning/training needs in a variety of areas including IT, report writing, working with numbers
• discover how you work with others
• develop an individual plan

Each participant will leave with a portfolio to help plan future learning and identify appropriate workplace opportunities.
