Rights of Women : Forced marriage: the new law - Training
To coincide with the implementation of the Forced Marriage (Civil Protection) Act 2007 on 25 November 2008, Rights of Women is holding a new programme of seminars and training throughout England and Wales.
Training: Forced marriage: the new law
Do you work with women who have experienced or are at risk of experiencing forced marriage? Do you want to know how the new law will protect them? This new course will provide an essential understanding of the new forced marriage civil protecton orders.
All participants will receive a copy of our latest publication Pathways to Justice: BMER women, violence and the law.

Manchester 4 March 2009 1.30-5pm
Birmingham 11 March 2009 1-4.30pm
Leeds 18 March 2009 1-4.30pm
Cardiff 25 March 2009 1-4.30pm
Costs:
Small voluntary sector organisations (income less than £500,000): £70 half day
Larger voluntary sector organisations (income £500,000 or above): £100 half day
Statutory sector/all others: £130 half day
