DIY essential electric courses are designed to give you the confidence to understand your home system and to learn how to carry out basic wiring techniques. It will give you the knowledge to know what may be wrong and when to call a professional.

DIY essential carpentry courses will teach you how to use a drill, measure and cut wood correctly. What fixture to use with which fitting.

Places are limited, so to avoid disappointment please email r.fulton@wamt.org stating your name, address and telephone number. Also whether you would like to do carpentry or electrics.

This exciting new project is funded by the London Development Agency and supported by the Central Unit for the Five Host Boroughs and Hackney Council.

To be eligible you need to live in either Newham, Hackney, Tower Hamlets, Greenwich or Waltham Forest.
