WRC United Nations Instruments Training

Tuesday 5th April 2005 - new date

In partnership with Amnesty International UK, the Women's Resource Centre are holding a one-day training event about United Nations conventions and other mechanisms. The training will cover:

• What are CEDAW and the Optional Protocol?
• What is the Beijing Platform for Action (BPfA)?
• What are the other relevant conventions which will help me in my work with women?
• How CEDAW, the Optional Protocol, the BPfA and other conventions can be successfully and effectively used as lobbying tools by women's organisations.
