Elevate Funded Management and Leadership Training for Women
Now recruiting for second intake
This unique free management and leadership training and development programme by women for women and funded by the European Social Fund and the Learning and Skills Council, has now been running for nearly six months.
Ninety women have attended the training programme so far with over 50% registered to accredit one NVQ unit in Management at level 3 or 4.
Current participants have stressed that the quality and teaching style of trainers is superb. All participants felt that training either matched or exceeded their expectations; almost all feel that the course had increased their confidence and improved their career opportunities. The best added values identified have been the women's only approach, the availability of individual coaching as well as childcare and travel bursaries for those who fit the project criteria.
The Women's Resource Centre is now recruiting for the next two intakes due to start in January and May respectively. If you are in a managerial / supervisory position, an aspiring manager and willing to commit to ten days of training over a four to five month period, give Elevate a call. Women with disabilities and from ethnic minorities are encouraged to take up this fantastic opportunity.
If you would like further information about the project or to enquire about applying to join the next intake please visit the WRC website to complete an expression of interest form or contact the Elevate team on 0845 458 5218 / elevate@wrc.org.uk
