Eaves Housing for Women
|
- Provides a range of supported housing options and resettlement
for vulnerable women in housing need.
- Eaves have specific accommodation services aimed at women
escaping domestic violence, young women, women survivors of childhood
sexual abuse, and women who have experienced mental health crisis.
- Eaves Women's Aid now has Domestic Violence Services (refuges and
floating support) in 3 London boroughs and will be opening a new crisis
house for women escaping violence in a fourth borough in early 2006.
- Eaves' work includes the Lilith Project - a 2nd tier pan-London
project that carries out research and capacity building on all issues of
Violence Against Women. Lilith facilitate the Sexual Violence Action and
Awareness Network and the Kalabash forum for BME agencies.
- Also includes the POPPY Project, which provides support and
accommodation for women who have been trafficked into the country for
the purposes of prostitution.
