Abortion Rights : urgent please email your MP ahead of final abortion votes on 22nd October
Please take two minutes to email your MP using our simple online lobbying tool to urge them to vote against further anti-abortion amendments and for improvements in the law for women.
The final, crucial abortion votes will take place on Wednesday 22nd October 2008 at the Report stage of the Human Fertilisation and Embryology Bill. The anti-abortion lobby has tabled a number of amendments which would restrict women's abortion rights. These must be defeated. Abortion Rights has worked with pro-choice MPs to table positive amendments to improve women's access to abortion services and extend rights to Northern Ireland. Please find here a briefing on the amendments.
