Eaves for Lilith Project - Reclaim the Night

International Day to End Violence Against Women
Friday 25th November 2005

• Supported by: NUS Women's Campaign, Womankind Worldwide, Greater London Domestic Violence Project, Women's Aid Federation of England, Justice for Women, Campaign Against Rape, Feminist Archive North

There are an estimated 47,000 rapes every year in the UK, with the lowest conviction rate ever of just 5.6 per cent.

For every woman who said no and was ignored, for every woman who can't be there - join the demonstration and say NO to male violence against women

• Young student women nervous walking to halls of residence at night
• Elderly women scared to walk to their local shops
• Girls who are not allowed out after dark
• Women who have no choice whether they go out or not
