Inspiring Women - in conversation with Jenni Murray
The Fawcett Society and The Guardian celebrate Inspiring Women and their contribution to politics, the arts, entertainment, science, and public life in the UK. Fawcett's President Jenni Murray, of the BBC's Woman's Hour, will be in conversation with politician Glenys Kinnock, academic and campaigner Noorena Hertz, Tracy Chevalier, author of 'Girl With A Pearl Earring' and the acclaimed stand-up comedian Shazia Mirza. Inspiring Women is held in memory of Mary Stott, the pioneering editor of The Guardian's Women's Page and Chair of the Fawcett Society, who inspired generations of British women to work towards equality.
