Fawcett : Inspiring Women 2006

Do you want to be inspired?

Tickets have just gone on sale for our dazzling yearly event, Inspiring Women, where we celebrate women's achievement in public life, from sport to politics, science and the arts.

Jenni Murray OBE, Fawcett President and presenter of Radio 4's Woman's Hour, will be in conversation with some remarkable women about who and what inspires them, the challenges they have encountered and their views on the major issues facing women today.

• Dame Tanni Grey-Thompson, double Paralympic champion and disabled sports campaigner
• Rt Hon Theresa May MP, shadow leader of the House of Commons and founder of the Women2Win initiative
• Jocelyn Jee Esien, comedian also known as “Little Miss Jocelyn”
• join a surprise special guest at this year's event.

• Wednesday 22nd November 2006 at 7.30pm in the Cadogan Hall in Chelsea.
• Tickets cost just £10 for Fawcett members/concessions or £15 full price, which includes a glass of wine after the event.

Inspiring Women is held in memory of Mary Stott, former Fawcett chair and pioneering editor of the Guardian Women's Page.
