On that day, we presented Gordon Brown with our payslip for nothing. Fawcett supporters held 12 events in 9 cities across the UK to raise awareness of the pay gap and 3,300 people signed our petition to Gordon Brown, making it the 65th most popular petition out of 8658 on the Number 10 website. Cosmopolitan, the Guardian, the Financial Times, Channel 4 News and countless others – both local and national - all covered the campaign.

A year later and the pay gap is still stuck at 17%. But this year the Government’s Equality Bill presents an incredible opportunity for change.

So join us on October 30th to shout even louder on No Pay Day.

It was such a great experience, thank you ever so much for arranging the No Pay Day. It was really shocking how many people were completely unaware of the pay gap and really wanted to know more.”
