FORWARD : WHO Female Genital Mutilation (FGM) Study Launch

On Wednesday 7th June a launch of the World Health Organisation Obstetric outcome study paper by the founder of FORWARD Efua Dorkenoo OBE will take place at the Home Office.

The research which is to be published by the Lancet on 2nd June is the largest and the most controlled study ever done on FGM with implications for the obstetric care of women affected (both in Diaspora and in Africa).

WHO is promoting the launch of the results simultaneously in countries with the Lancet release.

The event is being held on Wednesday 7th June at the Home Office, 2 Marsham Street, London, SW1P 4DF between 3.30-5.30pm.
