Ten Minute Rule Bill - Claire Curtis-Thomas, MP

Claire Curtis-Thomas, MP, will be debating the poor regulation of material such as The Sport and lads mags in parliament.
Her Bill seeks:
* A new regulator for sexually explicit material
* That is independent, gender aware and socially responsible
* With binding and transparent codes
She is also calling for a new Commission or similar body to examine the media's portrayal of women more widely
She is seeking a vote on this in Parliament.
A Vote is the First Step In Seeing The Measures She Proposes Becoming Law
It should be possible for the public to actually hear the Speech in the Public Gallery
