Object Launch of Stripping The Illusion: The Re-Licence Lapdancing Campaign
- Lap Dancing is currently licensed in the same way as coffee shops and karaoke
- The 2003 Licensing Act made it easier for clubs to gain licenses and harder for councils to oppose them
OBJECT is launching ‘Stripping the Illusion’ Parliament on Tuesday 22nd April 2008
The campaign has been featured in the Guardian and New Statesman and is supported by a range of MPs and Peers.
Join us at the launch!
Details are;
- 12-1pm Campaign Launch, Committee Room 17, House of Commons
- 1.30-3pm Photo-stunt and protest, Parliament Square
- Please leave time to clear security (approx 20 minutes)
