Parliament Votes [June 18th]

June 18th : Parliament debates and votes on a 'Ten Minute Rule' Bill on the principle of whether to introduce more appropriate licensing of lap dancing clubs (currently licensed like cafes).

Lap Dance Protest [June 18th]

June 18th : Join us at Parliament Square.

We will be setting up a Cafe Installation, complete with pole dancing pole to highlight how cafes and lap dancing clubs operate under the same license.

Local Councils [June 28th]

In light of our lobbying, the Government has sent a questionnaire to every single local council seeking to determine the licensing problems they have had, or might have, with lap dancing clubs.

There is a 6-8 week deadline for this questionnaire and we are writing to every local authority to highlight how existing licensing is failing.

We will be supporting simple actions by individuals or groups across the country - with petitions, leaflets and model letters. These will be available from our website and activist group shortly.
