Object Stripping The Illusion - 2nd National Day of Action

Object supporters collected over 600 signatures in Leeds, High Wycombe, Tonbridge, Brixton, Greenwich and Torquay, all calling for local councils to support re-categorisation of lap dance clubs so that they are no longer licensed as cafes on our first National Day of Action.

Following on from the day's success we are organising a second day of action!

On Saturday July 26th we will be helping supporters put on café themed petitions in their local area. If you are able to get involved please email activist@object.org.uk. We can provide a resource kit and help match you up with supporters in your area.

Changing licensing is a crucial step in challenging the increased sexual objectification of women. We have a huge opportunity to achieve reform and there are campaigns taking place nationwide. Let's make our voices heard!
