Women's Design Service Gendersite event

Women’s Design Service & Queen Mary University of London have just published Gendersite.org, a website which brings together all the existing resources on the subject of gender and the built environment.

The launch event will be held on the 2nd October at The Octagon, Queen Mary University of London, and will feature:

• Keynote speech by Ruth Reed, President Elect of the Royal Institute of British Architects
• Opportunity to try out Gendersite, and ask questions on gender and built environment issues
• Stalls showcasing work by built environment and equalities organisations
• Exhibition of work by women architects
• Guided tours of the local area
• Judging of the SAFE art competition
• Evening reception and networking
