Human Security Without Trident

Joan Ruddock MP is hosting a meeting with:

Trident nuclear weapons of mass destruction belong in the 20th century – they have no place in the 21st century world of today. It is time to move on, to comply with the Non-proliferation treaty, to stop the new arms race dead in its tracks and to confront the real threats of climate change and global poverty. Act now – while there is still time.

Give your MP a ring and make an appointment – they will be expecting you ! Tell them that in a recent survey 84% of the British public oppose the renewal of the Trident nuclear weapons system and that the people want their money spent on something useful, positive and peaceful.

They want their money spent on improving human security – not feeding the greed of the powerful military-industrial complex. Do it now.
