Women's Resource Centre (WRC) : Outcome Evaluation in women's organisations

Seminar on Outcome Evaluation in women's organisations
Monday 10th May 2004 from 1pm-3:30pm
Organised by the Women's Resource Centre Policy Forum

Speakers will include Jane Harris (Association of London Government), Beth Follini (Women's Resource Centre) and New Opportunities Fund/Community Fund (to be confirmed).

This seminar will be an opportunity to discuss outcome/impact evaluation in your own organisation, and hear from funders and other women's organisations. Issues will include:

• Ways to reduce the time spent on monitoring and evaluation in women's organisations;
• Hard-to-measure outcomes, such as prevention of violence against women and policy work;
• What funders need from outcome evaluation;
• Benefits to women's organisations of outcome evaluation;
• Discussion of outcome funding i.e. funding is provided for the actual results / impact as opposed to the activities, see http://www.dsc.org.uk/charityexchange/outcome_funding.html

This seminar is open to women working in the voluntary and community sector, funders and anybody interested in outcome evaluation in women's organisations.
