Women's Resource Centre : Why Women? 2007
Making the case for women-only spaces and services
The Women's Resource Centre is hosting a conference with the focus: 'Women-only spaces and services'.
Women's organisations face low levels of public understanding and women-only services and spaces even more so. This conference will explore services run by and for women, and women-only spaces, in the UK today: What do they look like? What do they do? What difference do they make to the women who use them? We will also look at the broader challenges facing women's organisations.
