Feminist Fightback

Group Purpose:

Feminist Fightback is an activist group. We're inspired by the politics of socialist feminism - the idea that women's liberation and the establishment of a democratic, classless society are interlinked - but we seek to involve feminists, socialists and anticapitalists of different viewpoints in discussing ideas and building an activist movement.

We campaign and take action on issues affecting working-class women, with decisions taken in monthly steering meetings. We also provide a space for sharing and developing ideas through our events, political discussions and school workshops.

Steering meetings are self-defining women only, events and actions are mixed.
