Because of the number of IWD events that are now listed on both the London and the Countrywide calendars we have changed the default settings to display by week. We hope this is more 'user friendly'. You can display the whole month by going to the bottom of the calendar page and clicking on the 'month' display option.
If the calendar web site is difficult to access you can look at the saved versions of the calendars using the links below. (If you want to add your own IWD listing you will need to go to the 'live' calendar pages as above.)
If you would like to leave an International Women's Day message or greeting - or comment on our re-designed web site - please feel free to use our new Guestbook:
> Welcome to our re-designed website! Microsyster received a one-off grant from the Association of London Goverment in 2003 as a contribution towards making the Women in London web site accessible. We hope the new design and consistent style of navigation - the index buttons on the left - has started to achieve this aim. > All Previous Information Archived
We have kept all the information added to the site up to 31st December 2003 by moving it to an archive section, but it is still in the old format(s). As and when new information from groups on Women in London becomes available we will add that in the new format. > Guest Information
For the time being we are keeping the links to the externally hosted interactive functions of the calendars for events in London and events coutrywide that visitors to Women in London can not only view but add information to. We appreciate that these are not totally accessible and are investigating how we could achieve this. If you have problems with the layout, you can change this through the options listed at the bottom of each calendar page. We have already received a number of enquiries about listings for International Women's Day (8th March) events. You can list or view events for March by going to the appropriate calendar and then clicking on the link for March. However we retain the right to remove postings to the calendars that are offensive or discriminatory, as we do for the linked externally hosted notice board. > And finally
We do have a new guestbook and we hope that visitors to the site will use this for feedback - good and bad; to let us know if your web site has a link to Women in London; and any other information or comments you want to pass on to ourselves as well as other visitors. With best wishes for 2004
