Latin American Women's Aid

Group Purpose:

Latin American Women's Aid is a Refuge for Latin American women and their children fleeing domestic violence.
* LAWA's Refuge offers temporary accommodation with emotional and practical support throughout their stay.
* LAWA also has an Advice Centre that provides information and advocacy to our client group who are experiencing domestic violence and wish to explore their options.
* It also provides assistance, advice, and support in matters related to housing, immigration, family, welfare etc and can make referrals if necessary.
