Hackney Women’s Forum

Purpose:
  • To encourage women’s involvement and participation in local decision making structures, e.g. Community Empowerment Network, Team Hackney and other public bodies.
  • To promote and advocate for women’s equality in policy and decision making in Hackney.
    • Activities:
  • Bi-monthly membership meetings
  • International Women’s Day events
  • Topic specific workshops, e.g. domestic violence
  • Peace Festival – running stalls for young people
