Networks:
Lesbian and Bisexual Women's Network (Middlesbrough)
- Purpose:
- To support the development of community groups for lesbian and bisexual women.
- To work in partnership with other agencies to develop services which reflect the needs of lesbian and bisexual women.
- To advocate for the needs of this community.
- Activities:
- Monthly drop-in
- Regular community events through the established community groups;
- Just Women; a social/cultural group for women aged 18 and over
- Out With The Girls; a sports/recreational group for women aged 16 and over
- Region or specific community:
- Middlesbrough, but women from outside Middlesbrough are welcome
- Membership Criteria if any:
- Women can join the community groups on an individual basis if they wish
- Membership Fee if any:
