Women's Health and Family Services

Purpose:
  • To advance education amongst women resident in Tower Hamlets and surrounding boroughs, to bridge cultural and language gaps between service providers and users, in particular African, Afro-Caribbean, and Asian women before during and after pregnancy. And
  • To preserve and protect the health of the inhabitants of the London Borough of Tower Hamlets, and surrounding boroughs.

  • Project for Bengali Children with Hearing loss
  • Diabetes project for older Somalis

  • Highlight and challenge racism in provision of services

  • Women volunteers

    Any person in agreement with the aims and objectives of WHFS may apply in writing to the Board of Trustees for membership to the company.
