GLDVP London Domestic Violence Forum Update

The last meeting of the London Domestic Violence Forum was held on Thursday 17th June 2004.  This meeting included an update on the Domestic Violence Bill, a presentation on drugs, alcohol and domestic violence from the Stella Project, information about the Home Office Information Sharing Guidance which can be found at: http://www.crimereduction.gov.uk/isp01.htm and a presentation from the Women's National Commission on their survivor consultation road shows.

The next meeting of the London Domestic Violence Forum will be held on 7th October 2004 between 2-4pm at City Hall.  If you have any queries, regarding the organisation of the Forum, please contact: Joanne Creighton via email joanne.creighton@london.gov.uk or telephone 020 7983 4976.

Please note: Membership of the Forum is restricted to agencies that can assist in the implementation of the London Domestic Violence Strategy recommendations. Membership is by application to the Chair of the London Domestic Violence Forum.  If you / your agency are not already being represented either by your agency of your Borough Domestic Violence Co-ordinator, and you would like to apply for membership of the London Domestic Violence Forum please contact Joanne Creighton via email: joanne.creighton@london.gov.uk

London Domestic Violence Forum meetings are not open to members of the public.  If you wish to receive information / papers from the Forum, please send your email address to Joanne and she will ensure you are added to her e-distribution list.
