GLDVP : Coordinated Community Response Toolkit

GLDVP gives you the opportunity to showcase good practices or to give examples of projects or initiatives

As part of a Government Home Office funded project The Greater London Domestic Violence Project (GLDVP) is developing an online website the ‘Coordinated Community Response Toolkit’. The purpose of this is to develop a practical toolkit for those involved in implementing the Coordinated Community Response Model (CCRM).

This will be an online resource, accessible UK wide, rather than a hardcopy publication. There will be embedded links so updated research, practice and policy guidelines will be readily available for all organisations, practitioners and those seeking information on domestic violence or working with the CCRM.

On each section there will be a searchable database of good practice and initiatives. It is in relation to this that I am now writing to all our partners to give you the opportunity to showcase good practices or to give examples of projects or initiatives that you would like to share with others in this field. As the toolkit will be available online it will reach a wide audience and will be a valuable tool in sharing good practice and ideas for many organisations and groups across the UK and further afield.

All initiatives and projects for the good practice bank will need to be logged using a standard form, to ensure consistency and ease of use. Please submit your ideas using the following format:

  • Title (no more than 6 words)
  • Contact person for more information
  • Contact details
  • Description of project/initiative (150 words max)
  • Five key words for the search engine
  • Has this projected by evaluated? YES/NO – if yes please provide details of how to get hold of a copy and whether this was an independent evaluation.
  • All examples of good practice need to be returned to Foziha Raja, Violence Against Women Police and Projects Officer by 12th January 2009 at the latest. Contact details for Foziha are below.

If you have any queries or would like any assistance in completing the format then please do not hesitate to get in touch.

It is a great opportunity to share the good work we all do and I look forward to hearing from you. Apologies for any cross posting.
